HIG Restorative Experiences
Restorative Experiences
Creating space for connection, reflection, growth, restoration, and meaningful change.
At Humanity Investment Group, restoration isn't simply something we practice when challenges arise. It is a way of living - one that shapes how we connect, communicate, lead, heal, grow, and engage with one another.
HIG Restorative Experiences create intentional spaces for individuals, families, practitioners, organizations, and communities to slow down, connect more deeply, explore new possibilities, and put restorative values into practice.
From immersive retreats and professional development to facilitated workshops and community conversations, each experience is thoughtfully designed around the people, purpose, and possibilities in each space.
Restorative Retreats
Step away. Reconnect. Restore.
Sometimes, restoration requires space.
Space to step away from routines and responsibilities. Space to breathe. Space to listen inwardly and to one another. Space to reconnect with what matters.
HIG Restorative Retreats are intentionally designed experiences that create room for reflection, meaningful connection, enlightenment, wellness, and renewal.
Retreat experiences are currently being developed for a variety of communities and life experiences, including:
Restorative Practitioners & Helping Professionals
Intentional restoration for those whose work continually asks them to pour into others, including restorative practitioners, mental health professionals, social workers, case managers, educators, and other helping professionals.
Leaders
Space for leaders to reconnect with purpose, reflect on how they lead, strengthen relationships, and explore restorative approaches to leadership and organizational culture.
Couples & Families
Experiences centered on connection, communication, shared reflection, relationship-building, and strengthening the ways we experience one another.
Parents & Caregivers
Restorative experiences for those navigating the joys, demands, transitions, and complexities of caring for others. This includes parents, family caregivers, adult children caring for aging parents, and parents/caregivers of children with disabilities.
Grief, Loss & Life Transitions
Gentle, intentional spaces for reflection, connection, and restoration during seasons of change.
Organizations & Teams
Customized restorative retreats designed around the unique people, purpose, relationships, and needs of an organization or team.

Trainings & Workshops
Learning that moves from insight to practice.
HIG trainings and workshops create engaging, participatory learning experiences that help individuals, organizations, and communities deepen their understanding of restorative philosophy while developing practical ways to put restorative values into action.
Restorative Circle Facilitation Training
Professional Certifications Available
Develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to facilitate restorative circles with intention and integrity.
HIG's Restorative Circle Facilitation Training combines restorative philosophy with practical facilitation skills, preparing participants to design and lead circles that foster connection, dialogue, accountability, reflection, and community.
Training opportunities can be designed for organizations, schools, agencies, community groups, and individual practitioners.
A Thin Line
A Restorative Dialogue Experience
A Thin Line creates space for individuals to engage in honest, facilitated conversations about the choices, relationships, pressures, identities, responsibilities, and experiences that shape their lives.
Through restorative dialogue and interactive experiences, participants are invited to examine the often-thin lines between choices and consequences, intention and impact, belonging and isolation, and the people we are today and those we are becoming.
Restorative Living
Moving Restorative Practice Beyond the Circle
Restorative practice is not limited to a circle, a training room, or the moments when harm occurs.
Restorative Living explores what happens when restorative principles become part of how we live, lead, communicate, parent, build relationships, respond to challenges, make decisions, and engage with our communities.
Through reflection, dialogue, experiential learning, and practical application, participants explore how restorative values can move from something we understand intellectually to something others can actually experience through us.
Restorative Practitioner Development
Learn. Reflect. Strengthen your practice. Grow in community.
For practitioners seeking opportunities to deepen their restorative knowledge and strengthen their practice, HIG is pleased to highlight professional development experiences that provide direct opportunities to learn with and receive support from HIG Founder & CEO Hasaani Hylton.
A nationally recognized Restorative Practitioner, Master Trainer, and Implementation Strategist, Hasaani brings decades of experience in training, facilitation, coaching, program design, and implementation across education, mental health, justice, and community settings.
NYU Silver School of Social Work

As Program Director and Adjunct Professor, Hasaani provides direct instruction and opportunities for participants to strengthen their knowledge and practice while learning alongside others committed to restorative approaches.
National Center on Restorative Justice
National Restorative Coaching Program
Restorative practitioners often encounter questions, challenges, and complexities when moving restorative principles from theory into everyday practice.
Through the National Center on Restorative Justice's National Restorative Coaching Program, practitioners have access to individualized coaching designed to support their continued development and implementation of restorative practices.
As a restorative coach with the program, Hasaani provides direct coaching to practitioners, creating space for reflection, problem-solving, implementation support, skill development, and continued professional growth.
Meet Me In The Zoom Room
Real Conversations. Restorative Connections.
Some conversations deserve more than a comment section.
Meet Me in the Zoom Room brings people together virtually for facilitated conversations around timely topics, shared experiences, and issues that matter.
These aren't webinars where participants simply log in and listen. They are opportunities to show up, engage, listen, reflect, learn from one another, and experience restorative conversation in community.

Professional Enough?
The Evolution of Authenticity in the Workplace
What does it really mean to "look professional"?
Workplace expectations have evolved significantly, creating greater space for tattoos, piercings, hairstyles, fashion, cultural expression, and individuality. But as our workplaces become more accepting of authenticity, questions remain about where personal expression, professional expectations, and our own judgments intersect.
Join us for a restorative conversation exploring how far we've come, where bias and assumptions may still show up, and how we can create professional environments where people have greater freedom to show up authentically - while still honoring the expectations of the spaces we occupy.
